We've used Lake Normal Reality for two services, rental management and to sell our rental property. Nina Bell was my contact for rental management, and she was great. We rented out our house for about 8 years, and have been working with Nina for probably 5 or 6 of those years. Nina was super communicative of issues that needed to be addressed, responded quickly to any questions I had, and was generally a joy to work with. 10/10 would recommend for rental management services. Nina referred us to Elizah Kessler when we were ready to sell the same house, and Elizah was just as great to work with as Nina. I really appreciated her realistic expectation-setting from the start, not glossing over potential issues that could crop up in the selling process, but always having an answer for it. We were selling from a distance and by necessity had to rely on Elizah to do a lot of the footwork for us, and she worked her tail off for us, up to and including shampooing the carpet herself to get the house ready to show. Elizah was available to answer questions quickly at any time, any day of the week. She was super organized and stayed on top of every. single. detail to make sure no balls were dropped (at least one big one would have absolutely been dropped had it not been for her). Elizah was not the first or second person who tried to sell this house for us, but she was by far the most communicative, enthusiastic, and ultimately successful of the three. 13/10 would recommend.

Elizah was fantastic to work with. We were selling our house from a distance and as it had been a rental for several years, we haven't seen it in some time. Elizah inspected it and set our expectations realistically, including flagging potential issues that may come up during the selling process. We particularly appreciated this as when things did crop up later, they were not a surprise. Elizah worked her tail off getting the house ready to go on the market, including coordinating all needed work and even ended up shampooing the carpet herself. Once the house was under contract, Elizah was essential in making sure all the i's were dotted and t's were crossed. Again, she coordinated all the repairs that were needed before closing, removing a great deal of stress from us and adding a great deal of inconvenience to herself. Having never sold a house before, we were at the mercy of trusting all the moving parts were in order, and Elizah was wonderful about following up on anything that needed more attention (up to and including the day before closing hounding the attorney to get us the forms we didn't know we needed to sign). In short, Elizah made a naturally stressful process as stress-free as she could. We would 100% recommend her to anyone.

Elizah is awesome (as we told her often!). We were constantly impressed from the first time we met her through the closing. She navigated the sale with ease, even though we live 125 miles from Statesville, by recommending -- and sometimes procuring -- contractors to make repairs and improve the appearance of the home. Elizah had a terrific eye for staging with minimal furniture. When we needed to make a complicated repair, she even put on her work boots to oversee the quality of the work since we were not living the home and couldn't supervise the project ourselves. Throughout the process, Elizah was always cheerful, professional and positive, and kept the entire project on track. We can't imagine another Realtor having accomplished this sale as smoothly and efficiently as Elizah did. She gets our highest recommendation!
